Showers ending, take a long break

The Portland/ Vancouver weather forecast from the KGW weather team. Updated several times daily, this includes the outlook around Oregon and in Southwest Washington.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Happy weekend everyone!

The showers have ended and the sky has largely cleared. A long dry spell begins Saturday that takes us upto next weekend, with one possible exception.

Morning clouds Saturday will lift and break up, giving way to temperatures climbing into the upper 60s with lots of afternoon sun.

Sunday will be partly sunny and warmer with highs in the low 70s.

Monday and Tuesday bring the mid-70s back to the Northwest. There’s a slight chance of a shower from about Portland northward late Monday into Tuesday. That’s the one possible exception to an otherwise dry forecast.

Wednesday brings sunshine and temperatures in the low 80s. There’s a good chance for our first 90-degree day Thursday or Friday as the dry and mostly sunny weather continues.

The warm spell breaks Saturday, as showers and thunderstorms look poised to bubble up from the south.

Have a great weekend, take good care of each other.
