A dry, pleasant July 4th weekend

The Portland/ Vancouver weather forecast from the KGW weather team. Updated several times daily, this includes the outlook around Oregon and in Southwest Washington.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A dry weather map today across Oregon and southwest Washington with the exception of isolated afternoon thunderstorms out in Baker county.

Look for a mix of cloudiness this morning from the coast to the Willamette Valley, but partly cloudy skies are expected for much of the day.  Portland will see the warmest day of the week to date with highs near 76 degrees.

For the 4th of July, we’ll still see nice conditions with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s from Salem to Vancouver.  Beach temps tomorrow will be in the 60s.  Sunday may reach 80 in Portland with sunny skies.

I have put back into the 7day forecast a chance of showers next Tuesday through Thursday.   Keep in mind this time of year, many shower chances simply fall apart or fizzle out.
