Turning into a sunny Saturday. More sun & warmer temps Sunday

The Portland/ Vancouver weather forecast from the KGW weather team. Updated several times daily, this includes the outlook around Oregon and in Southwest Washington.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Clouds are burning off nicely across NW Oregon this afternoon. The rest of the state is enjoying full sunshine today. We’ll top out just shy of 80 in the Valley on Saturday.

Morning clouds Sunday should be at a minimum, and generally confined to the North Coast. So we should have a day with full sunshine and warmer afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s.

We crank up the heat a little more on Monday, many Willamette Valley cities will be close to 90-degrees before we cool it down a bit Wednesday through Friday.  Models occasionally hint at some light rain or drizzle possible on Thursday but that’s a bit far out to hang our hats on this time of year.

The trend is then to turn sunny and warmer for next weekend, where we could be near 90 for a couple days.

Have a great weekend, take good care of each other.
