The Portland/Vancouver weather forecast from the KGW weather team. Updated several times daily, this includes the outlook around Oregon and in Southwest Washington.
PORTLAND, Oregon — For the rest of the night, we’ll see scattered showers of rain and snow. There may be minor additional accumulations above 500 feet from quick snow showers that last 15 to 30 minutes, but the valleys are unlikely to see sticking snow.
There may be some icy spots on roads in the morning where the snow lingers, but temperatures are above freezing now and will stay there in most areas overnight. The valleys will stay above freezing.
There may be some areas of freezing drizzle in the Gorge and Cascade foothills, where some areas remain below freezing.
Wednesday and Thursday bring rain showers and sunbreaks. Morning lows will be in the mid-30s, afternoon highs in the mid-40s.
After a dry and partly sunny day Friday, the weekend brings heavy rain to the valleys and heavy snow to the Cascades.
Have a great Wednesday, stay safe and take good care of each other.
