A cold front will slowly push across the Willamette Valley today. Steady rain at the coast to begin the day and steady rain up and down I-5 through the noon hour will drop 1/4″ of rain over Portland. This afternoon will see scattered showers behind the front with valley temps around 50 degrees.
Snow levels are near 5,000′ this morning, meaning rain at Government Camp. Snow levels will lower to 3,000 feet later today and closer to 2,000′ this weekend. A little fresh powder is expected, but not a lot of snow this time around.
Saturday brings scattered showers, but there will be more dry time than wet for the coast and the valley. Rain picks back up Sunday morning with a 2nd front moving inland. Snow levels Sunday morning drop to 1,500 feet.
Next week brings scattered showers Monday, but mainly dry and cool weather sets in for the middle of the week, although a shower chance remains in the forecast.
